Palkkalaskuri
Research on socio-economic determinants of citizens' work life
attitudes, preferences and perceptions, using data from the
continuous web-based European Wage Indicator. The Finnis project
label is Palkkalaskuri. Kimmo Kevätsalo is the responsible
researcher of the project for Finland.
Palkkalaskuri is part of an international family of pay websites,
with partner organisations in universities, research organisations
and trade unions around the world. Here you can find out more
about our site, and our mission
Wage Indicators are online in 10 European countries and South
Korea, India, South Africa, Brazil and the United States! In
2005 9 countries outside Europe are launching their websites
that include salary information and a questionnaire targeting
both formal and informal sectors of the labor market. In February
2006 Argentina and Mexico came online. This website keeps record
of the adventurous - and not-so-easy - path from off to online.
